I have been slow in publishing my recent presentations. This post will cover two events and five presentations.
On August 22–24 I participated CALIBRATE summer school that took place in Portoroz, Slovenia. On the first day we had a focus group with some teachers who have been working with LeMill. On the second day I had a presentation and workshop about LeMill. On the third day I had a long presentation about social networking and copyright.
Unfortunately we didn’t have much time to look around in Slovenia. Besides having a short boat trip on the coast we visited Sečovlje salt-pans and Postojna Cave. Some of my photos are available in Flickr: Slovenia 2007 and CALIBRATE summer school 2007.
On August 29th we organized the first Tiger Learning Day in Tallinn Lillekyla Gymnasium. We decided to call it tiger learning, because the way that teachers use ICT in our school is much more creative than e-learning that takes place in the universities. Tiger learning also emphasizes our good connections with Tiger Leap Foundation. 16 teachers presented how they use ICT in their lessons. I had a presentation about ICT Future School project and copyright issues related to learning resources.
