Hans Põldoja (b. 1979) works as a researcher in the Instititute of Informatics at the Tallinn University. His research is on the field of technology enhanced learning and human-computer interaction. More specific areas of interest and expertise include open education, learning environments, digital learning resources and interaction design.

Hans has more than 10 years of experience in designing learning environments and learning resource authoring tools. He has been responsible for the interaction design for several internationally recognized projects (LeMill, EduFeedr) and a number of learning environments that are widely used in Estonia.

Hans is teaching a number of courses in Tallinn University and is a head of curriculum for the Educational Technology master’s programme. He is also working on his doctoral dissertation in the Media Lab at the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
